Using Atlas Compare

You may use the comparison pages and browser-based tools for general reference. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or misrepresent a calculated figure as a value reported by its source.

Sources, calculations, and maps

Figures are linked to their publishers and labeled with the available reference year. Sources can use different dates, definitions, or geographic boundaries. Density and other comparisons identified as calculated are derived from the displayed inputs; check the cited publisher for the underlying data and definitions.

Map outlines are generalized reference geometry, not legal boundary determinations, land surveys, or navigation instructions. A visual comparison does not establish political status or settle a boundary dispute.
